PART 1: GARDENING
1. Do you enjoy gardening?
Well honestly, I don’t do gardening very often but sometimes I water the plants in front of my house. It makes me feel relaxed whenever I see green trees and beautiful flowers.
2. Did you do any gardening when you were a child?
Not really. I lived in an apartment so I didn’t have a garden. Sometimes at school we planted trees for a project.
3. Is gardening popular in your country?
I think gardening is popular in my countryside and many people like it, especially old people. They grow flowers or vegetables at home. It’s a good way to relax their mind and do physical exercises.
PART 2:
Describe a memorable journey you took
You should say:
– Where you went
– How you travelled
– What you did there
– And explain why it was memorable.
I'm going to talk about a memorable journey I spent last year.
I had a very special trip to Đà Lạt city with two of my close friends. We planned it for a few weeks before leaving because it was the first time we travelled without our parents. We decided to go by night bus because it was cheaper than flying, and it took about eight hours to get there. Although the bus was a bit crowded, we still felt excited and talked a lot on the way.
When we arrived in Đà Lạt, the weather was cool and fresh, which was very different from my hometown. During the trip we visited some famous places such as the city flower garden, a big waterfall and a local market. We also walked around the city centre every evening to try local food like grilled sweet potatoes and soy milk, which tasted really good. We took many photos to remember the moments.
This journey was memorable because it was my first long trip without family, and I felt more independent and confident. I also became closer to my friends because we shared everything together during the trip.
